Dugo Selo – a town with a population of about 19,000, situated 23 km east of Zagreb, which for centuries developed at the crossroads.The history and culture of this region is intertwined with the name of St. Martin and with the Order of the Templar Knights. The wine-growing tradition has resulted in tourism events relating to wine, such as St. Vincent’s Day on Martin Breg, which marks the start of the year’s work in the vineyards, and St. Martin’s Day, the celebration of the “christening” of the wine.Dugo Selo Autumns – a cultural and entertainment event that lasts from the start of September to St. Martin’s Day on 11 November.
