A Beautiful Cove Between Split and Dubrovnik
Klek is a littoral town, located in a beautiful cove between Split and Dubrovnik. Visit historical sites such as the Venetian tower (known as the Nonković tower), chapel and the remains of a wall from 17th – 18th century, ruins of an old town Smrdan (well preserved walls of a probably venetian fortress), St. Mary church, view point – fortress Gradina from the pre-Romantic time, a large necropolis of epitaphs and other cultural monuments. Klek is adorned with a large pebble beach which stretches along the entire town, as well as a seaside promenade – Lungo Mare, which connects Klek with Radalj.
