The Pearl of Kvarner Bay

Rabac was a small fishing town which was "discovered" by foreigners in late nineteenth century as attractive and unique destination. People there were excellent fishermen and sailors. Tourism in this part of Istria as well as in Rabac quickly began to develop only in early sixties of 20th cent, when this small town received a complimentary name of The Pearl of Kvarner Bay because of its remarkable natural beauty.
