Island of Beaches

Situated on the island by the same name, in Dalmatia region of Croatia, is just off the coast of Zadar (northeast Dalmatia). The island is one of 300 islands and isles of the Archipelago of Zadar and one if 1186 islands in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. Vir town is the main of three on the island (the other two are Lozice and Torovi). Due to it is ideal location, this is a great place to come for vacation, since it is rather easy to plan excursions from there. Vir near Zadar in Dalmatia, Croatia, is in the vicinity of four National Parks: Paklenica, the Kornati archipelago, Plitvice lakes and Krka waterfalls. Beaches in Vir are mostly sandy and/or with pebbles emerging into a crystal clear sea.
